Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, layout, and perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and high-frequency equipment and wiring
  • •Tear down and disassemble complicated equipment, diagnose troubles, and remedy quickly to avoid or minimize shutdowns
  • •Install and wire motors and set up motors for machine tools, including types of starts and controls
  • •Prepare wiring diagrams and update existing drawings to keep maintenance wiring programs current
  • •Direct and instruct helpers when required and perform maintenance and facility emergency response duties

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • •Rhode Island Electrician Journeyman’s or Master’s License
  • •Valid and current Driver’s License
  • •Ability to possess or obtain an OSHA Forklift License within 3 months of hire
