Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, and joint design development via statements of work.
  • •Drive development and consolidation of manufacturing BOMs with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
  • •Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to improve supply network lead time and flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering and BOM risk/compliance activities, including alternate component sourcing, component qualifications ahead of production, and commonality optimization to maximize TCO.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or designing electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Ability to travel 10%–40% of the time, variable based on program needs.
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local, to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
