Key Responsibilities

  • •Review production schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine required or overdue materials and their delivery sequences based on job order priorities.
  • •Arrange in-plant transfers and coordinate repairs/assembly needs with supervisors, ensuring transportation to the right departments.
  • •Monitor and control movement of material and parts along the conveyor system and compute material needed for job orders using system tools.
  • •Compile reports on quantity and type of material on hand, move/transport materials using hand or industrial trucks, and maintain materials and in-process records.
  • •Verify material delivered to production departments matches specified types and maintain perpetual production records using manual or computerized systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with order fulfillment systems/shipping systems or mobile scanners.
