Job Summary

In a hands-on manufacturing role, you’ll collect and analyze furnace heat-treat data to ensure processing stays within required temperature tolerances. Review furnace heat charts, compile time-at-temp requirements, and generate thermal processing reports for quality certification. Lead projects to improve furnace data acquisition and traceability, maintain the temperature uniformity survey program, and guide operations on heat treat specifications and standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, review, and process product data from furnaces to keep operations within required temperature tolerances.
•Review furnace heat charts (paper and digital), compile time-at-temp requirements, and generate thermal processing reports for quality certification.
•Lead engineering projects to improve furnace data acquisition, chart accuracy, and long-term process traceability.
•Maintain the furnace temperature uniformity survey program.
•Oversee secure storage, retention, and retrieval of short- and long-term furnace records to support audit readiness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Material Science, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related technical discipline).
•Strong analytical skills to interpret engineering specifications, thermal-processing data, and pyrometry requirements.
•Effective communication and ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and quality teams.
•Ability to work on-site in a heavy-industrial environment and comply with all safety requirements.
•Comfortable using power tools, measurement devices, and industrial equipment during furnace surveys and calibration activities.
