Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans for utility and facility equipment.
  • •Monitor and improve energy usage, water consumption, and waste streams to reduce utility costs.
  • •Manage utility commissioning/start-up/shutdown procedures and emergency response plans.
  • •Lead facilities safety programs, risk assessments, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting.
  • •Oversee budgets/CAPEX justifications, contractor and vendor performance, and maintain documentation for audits and compliance (GFSI, GMP, HACCP).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 7–12 years in facilities, maintenance, or utility operations in manufacturing (preferably food, beverage, or pharma).
  • •Oversee large-scale utility plants and building services in a production environment (e.g., steam/chilled water/compressed air/HVAC/water treatment).
  • •Track record leading maintenance programs, energy efficiency improvements, and small to medium capital projects.
  • •Demonstrated experience ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance, sanitation programs, and readiness for regulatory audits.
  • •Experience managing a team and supervising contractors/third-party vendors, with strong planning and communication skills.
