Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain capacity models using theoretical and actual production data to forecast and optimize manufacturing performance.
•Identify production bottlenecks by analyzing test and manufacturing data and escalate issues to relevant teams to ensure targets are met.
•Coordinate with equipment procurement to ensure timely availability of test/manufacturing equipment and consumables for NPI, ramp-up, and capacity needs.
•Collaborate with EMS management to align production output with ideal capacity targets across global manufacturers.
•Monitor KPIs and address yield gaps with test and process teams to improve performance.
•Create detailed reports summarizing capacity, outputs, and issues to support KPI tracking and decision-making.
•Communicate with Supply Chain groups to ensure alignment with output requirements and production goals.
•Lead cyclical reviews and adjust short to long-term capacity plans to meet organizational needs and market demand.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 77,000 - 164,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Capacity Management, or a closely related field.
•Working knowledge of Power BI and analytics tools such as DnA is highly desirable.
•Familiarity with Ciena’s test database and default management systems is an advantage.
•Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
