Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to laboratory policies and comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • •Extract and purify DNA/RNA from clinical specimens (e.g., blood, tissue, bone marrow) using manual and automated methods.
  • •Prepare DNA libraries and perform basic genomic analysis using sequencing platforms.
  • •Operate and troubleshoot NGS equipment and conduct PCR, Sanger sequencing, and MLPA testing.
  • •Perform QA/QC, maintain documentation, participate in validation/instrument setup, and support compliance with CAP/ISO, GCLP, and internal SOPs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, including at least 1 year in molecular biology or genomics.
  • •Hands-on experience with Sanger Sequencing, MLPA, NGS and/or Microarray techniques.
  • •Experience working in a CAP or ISO15189-accredited laboratory.
  • •DOH/DHA license or eligibility, plus proficiency with automated laboratory systems.
