Job Summary

Produce and revise detailed bridge and structural drawings for Canadian projects within the Canadian GCC Bridge team. Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate designs that comply with industry standards, manage drawing production and deadlines, and maintain QA, document control, and archiving practices. Lead creation of templates and CAD/BIM library items, review engineer sketches for conflicts or missing information, and support skill development across CAD/BIM software including Revit, SofiSTIK, Microstation, and Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities

•Agree drawing strategy, type, size, and drawing numbering; suggest drawing production methods to enable efficient working.
•Manage drawing production and review work to specified WSP CAD/BIM standards; suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
•Use templates and CAD library items to assist design work and lead production of templates and library items.
•Coordinate engineering services to ensure correct inputs are received timely and reviewed outputs are issued.
•Ensure QA, document control, archiving, CDM guidelines, and correct logging of incoming/outgoing registers and project folder/file structure.

Key Requirements

•At least Diploma Cad with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
•Competence in CAD/BIM tools including Revit, SofiSTIK, Microstation, and Civil 3D.
•Experience working in a similar CAD/BIM role producing engineering drawings using CAD standards and templates.
•Ability to review drawings and details, raise and follow up queries, and ensure accurate inputs and outputs.
•Strong communication and cultural awareness, with ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
