Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop a team of Platform Engineers in Romania, including one-on-ones, feedback, career development, performance topics, and succession planning.
  • •Manage day-to-day operations for the Romania Foundational Platforms team by prioritizing workload, allocating resources, and delivering operational commitments efficiently.
  • •Monitor service quality and operational KPIs, conduct operational reviews, and drive corrective actions and improvement execution.
  • •Ensure operational readiness and reliable delivery for foundational platform services, including service transitions, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and compliance with global standards.
  • •Coordinate incident response and escalations within the team’s responsibility, and partner with global service owners, architects, infrastructure teams, and external providers.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, platform operations, or foundational services.
  • •Strong understanding of foundational IT platform services, with deeper expertise in areas such as Identity & Access Management, directory, certificate, monitoring/logging, automation, or comparable platforms.
  • •Experience managing operational services using ITIL principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.
  • •Experience leading, coordinating, coaching, or mentoring technical employees in an enterprise IT environment, including performance and development discussions.
  • •Ability to support service transitions (operational takeovers, knowledge transfer, documentation) and understand security controls, governance, and compliance requirements.
