Perform automotive reconditioning and paint-prep work to ensure every vehicle meets CarMax quality standards. Execute tasks such as masking, sanding, grinding, priming, and refinishing, plus plastic/substrate repairs and parts removal/replacement for cosmetic and structural integrity. •Perform body repairs including masking, sanding, and grinding to restore vehicle surfaces.
•Apply primer and refinish paint, correcting defects and ensuring proper finishes.
•Remove and replace parts as needed for cosmetic and structural integrity.
•Repair plastic and substrates to meet CarMax quality standards.
•Uphold CarMax Paint Standards and 5S workplace organization while following EH&S requirements and maintaining equipment cleanliness/functionality.

Salary: USD 25.3 - 37.9 hourly

•Completion of New Associate Orientation Training – Operations.
•Accountability to the Associate 1 Competency Model and timekeeping systems training for Hourly Associates.
•Ability to meet performance standards for Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II, Flow Inventory Associate II, and Sr. Reconditioning Associate roles.
•Successful completion of workstation certifications across relevant reconditioning areas.
•Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately; lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied, including outdoor, conditions.
