Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including financing agreements and service/vendor agreements.
  • •Oversee contract management systems and standardization across the region.
  • •Provide practical legal advice to business units on commercial and operational matters.
  • •Work cross-functionally to identify and address legal risks, supporting regulatory and compliance matters as needed.
  • •Oversee corporate governance processes and coordinate external counsel when required.

Key Requirements

  • •A Master of Laws (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
  • •Minimum 5 years of post-admission legal experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • •Experience in-house legal within financial services, fintech, or other regulated sectors is an advantage.
  • •Multi-jurisdictional legal experience is a plus, with exposure to African markets welcome.
