Key Responsibilities

  • •Own EHS execution across EMEA sites, including onsite inspections, hazard and risk assessments, and ergonomic reviews.
  • •Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and illnesses; manage occupational health cases through their lifecycle with occupational health providers, HR, and Legal.
  • •Stand up and support health and safety committees and emergency response teams aligned to local jurisdiction requirements; coordinate with landlords, building management, and contractors to ensure safe shared environments.
  • •Co-build EMEA versions of core EHS programs (e.g., emergency action plans, fire safety, ergonomics, contractor/vendor safety, occupational health, training) and tune global standards to UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and other EU markets.
  • •Own fire safety and fire compliance by coordinating Fire Risk Assessments, tracking remediation, and supporting responsible person/duty-holder requirements; manage environmental health work (hazardous materials, indoor air quality, water safety/Legionella, lighting standards).

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of EHS experience, with meaningful time owning EHS for a region or serving as the EHS lead in your geography.
  • •Strong working knowledge of EHS regulatory frameworks across the UK and Ireland (HSE, HSA), ideally with additional EU jurisdictions (e.g., France, Germany, Netherlands).
  • •Working knowledge of European fire safety regulation and compliance, including Fire Risk Assessments and duty-holder responsibilities.
  • •Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear decisions and push back when something isn’t safe.
  • •Hands-on experience with EHS incident reporting, risk assessment, learning management, and related software tools.
