Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement AI-powered systems for real-time decision-making and policy enforcement at scale.
  • •Build observability tooling to monitor abuse trends and respond quickly to novel attack patterns.
  • •Balance risk and user experience by monitoring the impact of protective systems on trusted users.
  • •Collaborate across functions to translate high-judgement policy decisions into enforceable rules and empower Support with tooling and workflows.
  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure and backend systems across GCP, including participating in an on-call rotation for incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3–11 years of full-stack, infrastructure engineering, or applied machine learning experience in a fast-paced/high-growth environment.
  • •2+ years of trust & safety experience (consumer social experience preferred).
  • •Experience building enforcement systems end-to-end, including detection, action pipelines, escalation workflows, and appeals.
  • •Fluency with common abuse vectors on consumer social platforms.
  • •Experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale, with strong CI/CD and observability knowledge.
