Key Responsibilities

  • •Recommend product design changes to improve performance, manufacturability, and workflow, including design for manufacturing/automation.
  • •Lead manufacturing portions of product development and support development teams to ensure new concepts can be manufactured.
  • •Implement and direct engineering changes into production, including instructing and training personnel.
  • •Analyze discrepant parts using root-cause tools (8D, PFMEA) and direct actions to prevent recurrence.
  • •Establish production methods (standard work, cycle/takt time, ergonomics), support safety reviews, and drive value stream/cost-reduction initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Prefer at least one (1) year of engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Knowledge or experience with fabrication and/or assembly processes.
  • •Lean Six Sigma certifications and/or experience implementing lean processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to communicate ideas and plans; creative thinker.
