Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy machinery for dredging, reclamation, and sandfill activities to meet deadline and budget.
  • •Coordinate with Sandfill Master/Supervisor to perform tasks properly, including placing shore anchors and supporting pumping/sandfill operations.
  • •Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance and pre/post trip inspections (lights, brakes, gas, oil, water).
  • •Execute work in accordance with local environmental prescriptions and regulations, enforcing codes to prevent delays.
  • •Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing HSE policies, reporting accidents/events, and addressing hazards or defective equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent.
  • •Personal Survival & Fire Fighting & First Aid Qualification (Basic Safety Training Certificates) (STCW).
  • •Risk Assessment / PTW training.
  • •Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
  • •Ability to follow supervisor directions and work safely while understanding ground disturbance issues.
