Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead electrical design efforts for building projects of varying size and complexity, including commercial, industrial, higher education, wastewater, and federal/DoD facilities.
  • •Develop and oversee designs for medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, grounding and lightning protection, and associated low-voltage building systems.
  • •Apply strong architectural engineering judgment, coordinating closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, and technology disciplines to deliver fully integrated building designs.
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations, including load calculations, voltage drop, short circuit, protective device coordination, lightning protection risk assessment, and arc flash analyses.
  • •Develop lighting designs and photometric analyses appropriate to project requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • •8+ years of professional electrical engineering design experience.
  • •Strong experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD for building design.
  • •U.S. Citizenship (required due to the nature of federal/DoD projects).
  • •Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
