Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and wire control equipment by working from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information.
  • •Prepare parts and wiring (cut, strip, attach terminals) and route, adjust, and modify components and sub-assemblies for completed control assembly.
  • •Determine necessary materials and prepare requisitions to obtain parts from stock.
  • •Check electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies and make adjustments to meet plant quality standards.
  • •Execute engineering and customer changes and make repairs as required; report irregularities or malfunctions and maintain required records while following safety and hygiene rules.

  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Avery Creek, NC (active-duty military exempt).
  • •Must be able to lift 35 pounds (waist, shoulder, overhead) and bend/kneel/stoop/squat and move up and down ladders frequently.
  • •Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • •Proven history of safe work habits and ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • •Must be able to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
