Job Summary

Join AMD as a Member of Technical Staff Engineer to help design AMD’s AI server product. You’ll be part of a cross-functional board design team, contribute to high-quality proposals, perform design reviews from block-level to layout, and debug issues across bring-up, validation, and production. This role emphasizes collaboration with Power, ME, SI, and Layout teams and hands-on design tooling experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Cross-functional work with Power, ME, SI, and Layout to design AMD AI product solutions.
•Provide design review results covering hardware block-level, circuit, and layout, with recommendations.
•Investigate and debug issues found during bring-up, validation, and production phases.
•Familiar with board design tools (Cadence Concept, Allegro) and related debugging tools.
•Collaborate to ensure high-quality design and successful teamwork across the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
•12+ years of experience in hardware design or MB design (preferred)
•Extensive experience with cross-functional design teams
•Proficient with board design tools (Cadence Concept, Allegro) and oscilloscope-based debugging
•Ability to perform design reviews and issue investigations across bring-up, validation, and production
