Job Summary

Lead customer-facing DevOps/DevSecOps engagements end-to-end, from early scoping and technical discovery through delivery and handoff. Design GitLab reference architectures and implementation plans for self-managed and cloud environments, deploy/configure using infrastructure-as-code, and guide large-scale source code management and CI/CD migrations. Provide best-practice guidance, build reusable delivery kits and enablement materials, and ensure scalability, security, and compliance considerations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the full technical delivery lifecycle for Professional Services engagements, from scoping and discovery through implementation and handoff.
•Design high-level and detailed GitLab infrastructure and functionality designs aligned to customer requirements and the SOW.
•Build and deliver GitLab reference architecture implementations for self-managed and cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code practices.
•Execute source system migrations to GitLab (including large-scale moves) and manage risks to protect data integrity and minimize downtime.
•Provide DevOps/DevSecOps consulting, best-practice guidance, and mentoring, including creating reusable delivery kits and documentation.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 123,840 - 209,520 annually

Key Requirements

•Comfort leading technical discussions with customers/partners and communicating risks/trade-offs clearly in a remote, asynchronous environment.
•Demonstrated experience delivering two or more of: source code management migration, cloud architecture, DevOps engineering, or CI/CD consulting.
•Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure across cloud providers and on-premises using Terraform and Ansible.
•Ability to write clean, maintainable automation/integration code and validate changes with appropriate testing and code review.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience, with migration experience to GitLab (e.g., Congregate or similar).
