Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead discovery conversations with Sales to map business/technical requirements to Xometry solutions.
  • •Serve as the technical liaison between molding teams and customers, advising on appropriate applications of Xometry’s technology.
  • •Demonstrate Xometry capabilities, including the software quoting platform, to engineers and executives.
  • •Represent Xometry as an industry thought leader through events/webinars and contribute insight back to product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams.
  • •Provide internal expertise on injection molding and related processes, and provide project management oversight on complex opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7+ years in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical field, with strong hands-on injection molding experience (including compression, overmolding, and insert molding).
  • •Engineering degree (Mechanical or Plastics preferred) or related technical degree.
  • •CAD and technical drawing experience.
  • •Demonstrated project management and presentation skills, including preparing and presenting technical solutions within business proposals.
  • •Knowledge across areas such as New Product Development, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, GD&T, Mold Design, ISO certifications, and PPAP & inspection.
