Key Responsibilities

  • •Achieve budgeted sales of consumer goods to key customers and develop maximum sales volume aligned with projections for assigned accounts.
  • •Maintain and grow existing customer business through ongoing account management and retention.
  • •Introduce and place new products with customers and execute business initiatives to drive long-term growth.
  • •Maintain knowledge of product management, marketing, and R&D efforts to increase sales and satisfy customer demands for new items.
  • •Ensure prompt and equitable disposition of customer complaints or problems, including communication with corporate headquarters when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Knowledge of the dynamics of the food business industry or retail channels.
  • •Experience with customer-focused, fact-based selling, including IRI, Nielsen, and Perishable Group data.
  • •Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • •High level written and verbal communication, organizational planning, adaptability; possess a valid driver's license.
