Job Summary

Lead the Create squad (~8 engineers) behind GoFundMe Pro’s campaign-creation experience. Own delivery for Studio, including the campaign builder framework, templates, brand kits, guided workflows, AI-assisted content, and the preview-to-publish flow. Partner closely with Product and Design, drive outcomes and experimentation (A/B testing), and elevate quality, reliability, observability, CI/CD, and incident response while recruiting and developing engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and grow the Create squad (~8 engineers across frontend, fullstack, and backend), removing blockers and fostering an inclusive culture.
•Own engineering delivery for the campaign-creation experience, including Studio’s builder framework, creation tools, optimized templates, brand kits, guided workflows, AI-assisted content, and the preview-to-publish flow.
•Operate in a triad with Product and Design to frame problems, define scope and tradeoffs, and anchor initiatives on clear outcomes and success metrics.
•Champion an outcomes-over-output, bias-to-action approach by shipping iteratively and running rapid PoCs instead of large upfront bets.
•Drive experimentation and quality: improve adoption, campaign-creation rate, time-to-publish, and conversion via experimentation, while leading incident response, observability, test coverage, and CI/CD/trunk-based development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 219,000 - 329,000 annually

•Strong background building complex, customer-facing web applications with deep TypeScript expertise and modern frontend frameworks such as React, with comfort across the full stack.
•Product-minded, outcomes-first approach focused on user problems and measurable behavior change in partnership with Product and Design.
•Experience delivering in a data-driven, experimentation-heavy environment including A/B testing, funnel/conversion optimization, and analytics instrumentation.
•Strong web craft focused on performance, accessibility, reliability, and design system-driven UI.
