Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer Oracle database functions, including documentation, upgrades, lifecycle planning, operational guidelines, and data protection.
  • •Ensure database performance, security, and availability; implement upgrade, backup, recovery, and migration procedures.
  • •Investigate and resolve database issues such as connectivity problems and performance degradation, including root-cause analysis.
  • •Collaborate with development and multi-functional teams to design efficient, scalable database structures and support application development.
  • •Prepare SOE and Runbook documentation/specifications and follow Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) procedures for in-scope databases.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •At least 8 years managing Oracle databases at versions 19c and 23ai.
  • •Experience implementing and maintaining large-scale OLTP/OLAP systems (including Oracle Multitenant, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, partitioning, Data Pump, Oracle Internet Directory, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control).
  • •Hands-on Oracle database performance tuning, including upgrades and host migrations.
  • •Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with ability to plan resource requirements.
