•Execute Category Management strategies according to policies and procedures and issue purchase orders as material requirements arise.
•Create RFQs and organize competitive bidding to obtain best quality, delivery, and price from suppliers.
•Develop and implement local procurement agreements for goods/services not covered under Category Management.
•Assess supplier performance and ensure tasks contribute to cost containment and operational efficiency.
