Job Summary

Lead the LogScale Search Frontend team within NG-SIEM, driving the Kestrel event search initiative and building a modern, analyst-centric search experience for the Falcon platform. Own the frontend technical vision and roadmap across dashboards, data visualization, query editing, and web components. Hire, mentor, and grow frontend engineering talent, partner with Product/UX/backend, and ensure high-quality, performant, accessible UI at massive platform scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the Kestrel event search frontend initiative by leading a team to build a modernized, customizable search interface for the Falcon platform.
•Own the technical vision and roadmap for LogScale’s frontend surface, including dashboards, data visualization, query editing, and web components.
•Lead and grow a team of frontend engineers, including hiring, mentorship, career development, and fostering ownership, quality, and collaboration.
•Partner with Product, UX, and backend teams to translate customer needs into well-architected frontend solutions and keep end-user capabilities aligned with platform scale.
•Set and evolve frontend engineering standards (code reviews, testing strategies, development workflows) and ensure delivery execution and feature quality via observability and production metrics.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong frontend foundation, including modern web frameworks (React, Ember, Angular or similar) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
•2+ years of engineering management experience leading frontend or full-stack teams, including hiring and developing talent.
•Deep understanding of frontend architecture patterns for large-scale web apps, including state management, component design, performance optimization, and testing strategies.
•Experience with data visualization technologies and building interactive, data-dense UIs (e.g., D3, Highcharts, Vega).
•Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Product and UX to ship customer-facing features in a SaaS environment.
