Key Responsibilities

  • •Control production and load-out of materials produced in the plant.
  • •Ensure efficient working condition of plant equipment by performing minor servicing and maintenance or escalating major problems to the supervisor.
  • •Complete plant start-up and shutdown processes and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
  • •Visually observe and monitor critical gauges and computer-generated information to support productivity and asset preservation.
  • •Assist other operators or maintenance personnel with heavy or awkward duties and support preventive maintenance and repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform preliminary walk-around surveys of plant crushing equipment and identify maintenance needs, preventive maintenance items, worn parts, emissions controls, and housekeeping issues.
  • •Initiate the plant start-up and shutdown process end-to-end, including navigating computer screens, troubleshooting, retrieving reports, and submitting data electronically when available.
  • •Monitor critical gauges and computer-generated information to maximize plant productivity while preserving crushing-process assets.
  • •Assist with preventive maintenance and plant repairs, including lubrications and complete clean-up processes.
  • •Communicate effectively about plant components, needs, issues, and daily operating performance; proactively troubleshoot while following regulations, quality requirements, and safe work practices.
