Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Test and operate machinery when needed during installation.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller, then integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle a range of installation scenarios, including complex wiring harness work to access CAN networks on vehicles and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot installation issues, gather/analyze information, develop alternative solutions, and travel to client sites and rental yards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; hard-working, eager to learn.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and prior telematics experience not required (training provided).
  • •Own required tools; open to traveling within 250 miles of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen (safety sensitive position).
