Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement HSBC Life Singapore’s sustainability, CSR, and philanthropic strategy.
  • •Ensure sustainability policies and practices align with HSBC Group and HSBC Global Insurance standards.
  • •Foster a culture of sustainability via employee engagement programs that integrate sustainability into operations and decision-making.
  • •Lead sustainability and CSR projects/initiatives (e.g., carbon offsetting) to support carbon reduction goals.
  • •Build nonprofit and other stakeholder partnerships, and assess initiatives to measure effectiveness and improvement areas.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • •Relevant experience in Sustainability, ESG, CSR, and/or philanthropy, preferably within insurance or financial services.
  • •Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability standards, with ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • •Proven project management experience with strong organization and attention to detail.
