Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver rail track design solutions across feasibility, concept, detailed design and construction support phases.
  • •Undertake and review track alignment, rail geometry, formation and drainage design.
  • •Coordinate with signalling, systems, overhead wiring, structures, geotechnical and civil teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
  • •Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and developing engineers, including support for design assurance, safety in design and quality processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • •Approximately 10+ years' experience in rail track engineering in a consulting, contractor, or client environment.
  • •Demonstrated experience delivering rail infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • •Strong understanding of rail track design principles including alignment, geometry, formation and drainage.
  • •Proficiency in OpenRail, 12d, Civil 3D (or similar rail design software), plus experience coordinating multidisciplinary rail projects.
