Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, discipline, and terminations while ensuring fair and legally compliant HR practices with strong documentation.
  • •Coach and support supervisors, managers, and employees with practical guidance on employee relations, performance management, feedback, and documentation.
  • •Champion culture and engagement, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and develop employee engagement action plans based on feedback and organizational needs.
  • •Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning in partnership with leaders and Talent Acquisition, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and support for succession planning and talent development.
  • •Manage disability management and attendance/accommodation processes, including WCB/WSBC claims, return-to-work planning, and performance and compensation processes such as annual performance reviews and benefit plan administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • •CPHR designation or actively working towards completion (asset).
  • •Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, forestry, or related environments.
  • •Demonstrated experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, disability management, recruitment, and leadership coaching.
  • •Ability to operate in both industrial and professional environments and effectively prioritize competing demands.
