Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop measurement recipes to provide quick, accurate feedback on product integrity and improve yield/quality.
  • •Set up tool qualification criteria, implement monitoring with Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, and determine sampling strategies for process control and quality.
  • •Run improvement projects to enhance inline detection, efficiency, reduce cost, measurement variability, and improve machine availability.
  • •Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization; support Fab with data analysis and recommendations for process and equipment changes.
  • •Partner with tool suppliers and owners to explore innovative approaches, and train engineering teams on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
  • •Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills to solve yield/quality problems.
  • •Ability to collaborate across all levels as an effective communicator.
  • •Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning; internship or semiconductor experience is a plus.
  • •Interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron; baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy are required.
