Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Project Controls across major infrastructure construction projects in Scotland.
  • •Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying controls resources to best effect.
  • •Review new project proposals/remits to ensure realistic, resourceable plans for delivery.
  • •Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve issues.
  • •Provide an efficient day-to-day service to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in planning and scheduling, including schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and home office
  • •Experience in construction infrastructure sector on defence, rail, aviation, highways, nuclear, power, energy, water projects
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills
  • •Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications
  • •Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office; knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start-up processes
