Job Summary

Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support of aircraft egress systems at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans. Maintain components such as ejection seats and canopy systems, oxygen systems, fire extinguishing, HVAC, and cockpit pressurization/ventilation. Remove/install and inspect ejection seat assemblies, run inspections and validation testing, configure vehicles and bench test equipment, and document work for contractual and regulatory compliance.

•Remove, install, inspect, and rig ejection seats, cartridge actuation devices (CADS), shoulder harnesses, and lap belts.
•Perform daily, pre-/post-flight, and periodic aircraft inspections.
•Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by changing/removing/replacing/upgrading aerospace components to correct failures or implement changes.
•Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; perform validation/verification testing; document repairs and test results for compliance.

Key Requirements

•Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks in confined spaces or elevated positions.
•Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
