Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build shared CI/CD capabilities and delivery workflows used across the organization to integrate, test, and deploy services.
  • •Evolve deployment strategies (canary, blue/green, progressive rollouts) to make safe, low-drama releases the default.
  • •Integrate GitHub workflows into the delivery platform (branch protections, checks, Marketplace-style actions) for a cohesive developer experience.
  • •Support GenAI-assisted, safe, observable workflows in CI/CD (e.g., background agents for migrations, test generation, and pipeline maintenance) in partnership with Developer AI.
  • •Instrument delivery workflows with metrics, logs, and alerts and integrate observability tools (including Datadog) to make delivery health visible and actionable.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years designing, building, and operating CI/CD and software delivery systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or equivalent).
  • •Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language such as Go, Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java, with strong code review, debugging, and reliability/performance skills.
  • •3+ years with containers and Kubernetes; package management (Helm); infrastructure-as-code (Terraform); GitOps workflows; and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • •Hands-on experience with GenAI-assisted developer tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) and applying them to delivery workflows, test generation, and CI/CD background agents.
  • •Experience collaborating cross-functionally (Product and engineering teams) to design delivery workflows, communicate trade-offs, and drive adoption of shared platforms.
