Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate environmental inputs for EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Support EIA work across project life stages from early strategy and feasibility/option selection through discharging conditions, construction, and scheme operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards with a critical eye for detail.
  • •Coordinate resources and budgets to develop project management skills, with support as applicable.
  • •Work with integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, impact avoidance/mitigation solutions, and opportunities to deliver benefits; maintain client and internal supply team contact, and support business development and proposal development.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters) and an appropriate professional membership.
  • •EIA consultancy experience, including coordinating environmental report preparation and technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Developing understanding of relevant consenting regimes.
  • •Ability to work collaboratively as part of an established team, coordinating inputs from specialist technical teams.
  • •Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups.
