Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and operate Kubernetes-based services, including controllers, operators, deployment patterns, and runtime integrations for distributed workloads across environments.
  • •Design and implement reusable primitives for authoring, scheduling, and scaling pipeline work.
  • •Develop data storage, ingestion, validation, transformation, and governance capabilities to support reliable data processing.
  • •Create extensible platform components for standardized authentication, authorization, observability, networking, routing, secret management, and related platform services.
  • •Advance end-to-end observability and operability (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, SLOs, diagnostics, and runbooks) and partner with teams to integrate platform capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience designing and operating production distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, backend infrastructure, or data-intensive services.
  • •Strong software engineering skills with a record of delivering production systems in Go and Python.
  • •Deep understanding of distributed-systems fundamentals (e.g., failure handling, idempotency, consistency tradeoffs, retries, ordering, delivery semantics, backpressure, partitioning, state management, fault tolerance).
  • •Experience designing or operating workflow orchestration and distributed job execution, including asynchronous processing and event-driven systems.
  • •Ability to define architecture and technical standards while remaining hands-on in implementation, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and reliability improvements.
