Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all automotive lubrication services, including oil changes, topping off fluids, and related tasks.
  • •Thoroughly check the customer’s vehicle (e.g., battery, lights, tires) and refer needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
  • •Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment and ensure lifts and equipment are in proper working order.
  • •Receive repair orders and proceed to service the vehicle; lubricate the entire car while looking for other items that may need repair.
  • •Follow company safety policies, keep the customer’s car clean, and report accidents immediately to a manager or supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ months of experience as a technician’s helper, apprentice technician, or lube technician in an automotive dealership or service shop.
  • •Basic understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • •Experience using automotive tools and equipment (e.g., wrenches, oil filter wrenches, socket sets) to work efficiently and safely.
  • •Must have own set of tools (basic hand tools, wrenches, sockets).
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to work collaboratively while communicating maintenance needs.
