Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by advising on home lending solutions that align with their financial goals. Prospect and develop referral relationships to grow loan originations, while meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining strong client satisfaction and loan quality. In a branch environment, gather loan documents, serve as the primary point of contact through closing, and stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect for home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather documents and act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the loan process.
•Maintain deep knowledge of KeyBank products and competitive offerings while meeting sales goals and ensuring quality client satisfaction.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production.
•Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong customer service skills and sales/prospecting experience (tele-consulting, networking, and COI relationship management).
