Key Responsibilities

  • •Own medium-to-large Omnigent advocacy projects end-to-end, from scoping through delivery.
  • •Grow the Omnigent contributor community by lowering the barrier to first contributions and helping new maintainers take on responsibility.
  • •Drive external adoption by teaching developers how to integrate Omnigent into agent stacks and products, including non-Databricks stacks.
  • •Create practical templates, sample repositories, and reference implementations that developers can clone, fork, and ship.
  • •Deliver knowledge-sharing activities including talks, panels, meetups, blogs, video content, courseware, and support in community forums and issue trackers.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of combined experience as a developer advocate and in a hands-on technical role (software engineer, ML engineer, or solutions architect).
  • •Hands-on experience building software with current agentic developer tooling and coding agents.
  • •Strong Python and TypeScript skills, with comfort at the command line and in other people’s codebases.
  • •Demonstrated open source contribution experience (issues, pull requests, reviews, release processes).
  • •Subject matter knowledge of agent architecture, orchestration, sandboxing, and practical agent safety and cost controls.
