Job Summary

Lead site maintenance at the Sinnar plant, ensuring all activities meet HSE requirements, legal/regulatory obligations, and company standards. Drive preventive and predictive maintenance planning, improve work practices to enhance HSE performance, quality, and maintenance KPIs, and manage maintenance cost within budget. Provide technical support for equipment emergencies, conduct root-cause analysis, oversee equipment inspections/calibrations, and maintain documentation for IATF 16949 and EMS 14001.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure site maintenance activities at the Sinnar plant comply with HSE policies/procedures, company standards, and Indian legislation.
•Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for relevant equipment.
•Provide technical support to resolve equipment emergency faults, organize technicians for failure analysis, and identify root causes.
•Ensure inspections and calibrations required by quality, safety, environmental procedures and Indian legislation are completed on time.
•Maintain documentation and manage certification/audit processes for IATF 16949:2016 and EMS 14001, while training staff in routine maintenance and production tasks.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
•Minimum 15 years of experience in multinational companies, preferably in manufacturing in chemical/engineering or advanced polymers.
•Hands-on experience with PLC and drive operation (including Siemens PLC and AC drives) plus mechanical automation and electrical diagrams.
•Experience with maintenance of electrical parts for extruder machinery, pelletizing, and conveying systems.
•Knowledge of reliability concepts and maintenance practices such as defect elimination, root-cause failure analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis.
