Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide postpartum doula care for families introduced through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Complete the interest form and screening process to move forward with partnering.
  • •Work as an independent contractor in a non-exclusive network while keeping your own clients and practice.
  • •Use Loula’s administrative support for insurance verification, credentialing, medical billing, and payment.
  • •Decide how much to take on, with no client minimums or visit requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendation, or (if trained as a birth/full-spectrum doula) 16 hours of training plus attendance at 3 births as a doula.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Be located in California and meet the minimum qualifications to be invited to an introductory meeting.
