Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive simplification and automation of data-based processes to improve production scheduling, order tracking, production data capture, and dashboarding (APS, MES, IoT, big data, AI).
  • •Collect, research, and analyze regional business requirements; create conceptual and detailed designs; and pass needs to IT for development.
  • •Collaborate with manufacturing sites and Operations & Supply Chain to test IT-developed solutions and support rollout.
  • •Troubleshoot and improve existing and new manufacturing and warehouse processes.
  • •Analyze, validate, and document interface, reports, forms, configurations, and other business needs; facilitate review sessions with functional owners and subject matter experts.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in engineering related to electronics, operations technology, software development, or automation (or equivalent training/experience).
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with data connectivity and systems for information visibility and acquisition.
  • •Experience developing and implementing advanced technologies and process improvements in manufacturing and associated IT systems.
  • •Experience with PLCs, data acquisition devices, and IoT/edge devices, including on-premises data migration to the cloud.
  • •Experience in software development and architecture design for data systems, including GitHub, node.js, and Azure Cloud developer environment.
