Key Responsibilities

•Lead site-level selection and implementation of an MES platform from design and validation through go-live and hypercare.
•Configure MES workflows, work order routing, operator workflows, genealogy rules, and test data capture for inverter assembly.
•Own MES to shop-floor integrations (barcode scanners, label printers, torque tools, test stations, vision systems, and PLCs) and coordinate MES-to-ERP integration handoffs.
•Design, deploy, and operate the site IT/OT network (segmentation, VLANs, industrial wireless, switches, firewalls) and manage floor endpoints and test station connectivity.
•Serve as first point of escalation for on-site IT issues, manage local helpdesk and support, onboard/offboard personnel access, and maintain site documentation, SOPs, and asset inventory.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in IT roles within a manufacturing environment, including end-to-end ownership of at least one MES implementation (commissioning through steady-state).
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
•Hands-on experience configuring and supporting a modern MES platform (e.g., 42Q, Critical Manufacturing, Plex, Tulip, Aegis FactoryLogix) or equivalent.
•Strong shop-floor integration knowledge (barcode/RFID, label printing, test data capture) with PLC connectivity and OPC-UA/MQTT awareness.
•Networking and endpoint fundamentals, including IT/OT segmentation (VLANs), industrial wireless, firewall basics, and endpoint management for Windows and industrial Android handhelds with MDM tools.
