Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the management of archaeological sites and research in line with strategic plans, operations, and approved budgets.
•Develop and implement legislation and policies for preserving artifacts, including registering and classifying artifacts locally and globally.
•Develop and implement projects and initiatives to develop archaeological sites and research and enhance preservation.
•Foster strategic partnerships with stakeholders to promote archaeology and research nationwide; coordinate media engagement and reporting.
•Supervise surveys and excavation projects, classify and document artifacts, and coordinate with organizational units for resources and support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, History/Archaeology or equivalent; Master's preferred.
•10 years of relevant experience.
•Knowledge of archaeology governance, legislation, recording artifacts locally and globally.
•Ability to lead programs, supervise surveys/excavations, allocate resources, and manage performance.
•Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
