Senior People Data Scientist will serve as an enterprise‑wide analytics partner blending data engineering, analytics, and data product ownership to shape company‑level people metrics, build self‑serve dashboards, own data warehousing architecture, and apply advanced methods (predictive attrition, regression, NLP) to drive equitable workforce decisions for HR leaders and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Evolve the enterprise people analytics agenda across domains and partner with cross‑functional teams to align metrics with Instacart priorities.
•Lead high‑stakes enterprise‑wide projects (retention drivers, surveys, organizational health metrics, engagement insights, AI in analysis workflows).
•Design and mature self‑serve people data products and dashboards that scale across HR and the business; drive adoption through enablement and training.
•Own data warehousing and data architecture decisions spanning ingestion, ETL/ELTs through BI tools and LLMs.
•Apply advanced methods (predictive attrition, cohort/survival analysis, NLP) and translate results into clear, actionable insights for HR leaders and analysts.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, BI, or related field, with at least 2–3+ years in People Analytics / HR data
•Experience designing and maintaining executive‑facing dashboards and data products in BI tools (e.g., OneModel, Tableau, Looker)
•Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with a modern cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake
•Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear stories and actionable insights for HR/business leaders
•Demonstrated expertise in multivariate analysis, including regression models and NLP techniques; strong foundation in research methodology and psychometrics; experience handling sensitive HR data with privacy controls; Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
