Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking and fee-income products with exceptional personalized service.
  • •Establish and update client financial needs and conditions using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, including working with the financial advisor on investment account objectives.
  • •Monitor economic, legal, and investment trends and serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their attorneys and CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing new products, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Partner with Truist IRM partners and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client service, advocate for clients, and maintain compliant portfolio practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, and investment management/asset allocation concepts, plus understanding of retail credit and traditional retail bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain required licenses, including SIE, FINRA Series 7, and Series 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable Insurance licenses; also be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within required timeframes.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
