Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts to diagnose issues faster.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and comply with OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations, performing repairs as needed.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors (including onsite travel when required).
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic/paperwork documentation (work orders) and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own applicable tools for the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Be able to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; high school diploma with trade school certificate preferred.
