Build and scale Canva’s User Platform backend, enabling the growth of the microservices that support millions of daily users. Decompose legacy services, design and implement new high-performance systems, and create reusable building blocks for user authentication and management—covering avatars, groups, teams, roles, and permissions. •Collaborate with a backend-focused team to extend and scale the User Platform microservices.
•Own high-performance systems for authenticating and managing users, avatars, groups, and teams.
•Design, plan, build, and maintain reusable building blocks for the User Platform.
•Evaluate requirements with stakeholder teams and align on timelines to optimize for customer value.
•Improve the experience for customers with large teams in Enterprise and Education environments.
