Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently perform structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings, including gravity/lateral systems, foundations, and structural components.
  • •Develop structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and design documentation using project data such as site observations and geotechnical reports.
  • •Use structural analysis and design software to evaluate building loads and design structural members and connections per applicable codes and standards.
  • •Coordinate structural design concepts and requirements with architectural, civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •5+ years of post-education experience analyzing and designing building structures.
  • •Professional Engineer license.
  • •Proficiency with structural building codes, design standards, and structural engineering principles.
  • •Proficiency with structural design/modeling software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA-3D, RAM Concept, SAFE, Revit, AutoCAD) and the ability to produce structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
