Job Summary

Lead high-complexity NPI (new product introduction) sourcing programs within Applied Materials’ HI business unit, providing guidance to program management on the right supply chain strategy for leading-edge technology. Own early PDP gate engagement from a materials-management perspective, coordinate internal teams and suppliers to meet delivery, budget, and quality targets, and drive risk identification/containment. Lead high-value supplier negotiations and develop a roadmap that supports speed-to-market, cost, lead time, scalability, and resilience.

•Develop and implement supply chain strategies from NPI through high volume to meet business unit product strategy requirements.
•Lead high-value, complex supplier negotiations to ensure reliable, cost-effective materials and components supply.
•Establish end-to-end supply chain solutions for high-end technology projects from concept to first customer shipments.
•Participate in early PDP gate discussions and coordinate cross-functional/internal/external efforts to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, quality, and early risk containment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 141,000 - 193,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven expertise in program management and supply chain management with strong business acumen.
•Minimum 15 years of supply chain experience, with experience leading teams in an NPI environment.
•Deep knowledge of supply chain disciplines, including supply chain strategy development, make-vs-buy, cost analysis, lead-time reduction, risk analysis, and capacity analysis.
•Demonstrated experience in cost negotiation and driving cost-reduction plans.
•Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering (advanced degree and MBA preferred).
